February Meeting Moved One Week

The February meeting of the Republican Party of Wright County for the month of February is going to be held on February 27 instead of February 20. The courts are expected to announce the new State House, State Senate, and US Congressional Districts on February 21st. As these new districts will have a significant impact upon the immediate business of the party, it is prudent to wait to meet until after these new districts are known.  We are still meeting at the Buffalo American Legion at our normal 7 PM time.

Victory

Tuesday was a historic day.  The Republican Party has taken over the State House and for the very first time since the legislative races became partisan 38 years ago, the Republican Party controls the State Senate!  Our very own Sen. Amy Koch lead the charge as the Minnesota Republican Senate Caucus Election Chair.  Way to go Amy!

Thank you to everyone who helped make phone calls, prepare literature, drop literature, and march in parades.  This would not happen without you.

Most of all, thank you everyone for showing up and voting on election day.
